One customer had some WiFi interference issues with having an RF expander inside the enclosure (but then opted to move my system into a separate box outside of the enclosure, and extend the cables), however since you’re using the RF extender keypad, which is outside of the main alarm panel enclosure it should be ok. Just double-check that you have a good WiFi signal at the alarm panel. With your system, I hoping that I will be able to read the wireless garage door sensors to tell if the door is open/closed and then control the garage door opener from the app or Alexa.īTW I do have cameras mounted around the home, but its using an older DVR system, so while not integrated completely (future project), I will surely be looking at the garage camera on the DVR app before closing the garage, to make sure nothing is in the way.
